Parking Instructions

2009 Vehicle Registration	Created On: 06/18/09
Parking Fees for 2009-2010 are as follows: On-Campus Parking $500 incoming academic year 600 Satellite Parking decals are available at no cost. Historically we have found that since there is a limit, delaying registration for this decal will result in you not having this option this academic year. We suggest you register as close to August 1st as possible. Note: After you choose this decal, you cannot convert back to campus parking and are obligated for the entire academic year. The fine for parking on campus during 7:30am and 5:00 pm, Monday- Friday will be $50. (This includes 15 minute and 30 minute spaces and visitor lots). Motorcycle Permits are $25 for the academic year. Vehicle Registrations for the 2009-2010 school year will begin online on August 1, 2009. All vehicles brought to campus must be registered by midnight on September 1, 2009. (Please note a vehicle is not registered until the decals are placed on the vehicle according to the instructions.) To register your vehicle, proceed to the “Personal” section of the WIN page, choose “Register Your Vehicle” and complete the formatted screen. Graduate students (Excluding Law/MBA who have their own dates and location for distribution) who register a vehicle by Sunday, August 17, 2009, at 3:00 pm, can pick up their decals on the distribution dates in Benson University Center. YOUR VALID WAKE FOREST IDENTIFICATION CARD IS REQUIRED TO PICK UP YOUR DECALS. Distribution dates for all students without Campus PO Boxes will be held in Benson University Center Room 406 as follows: Wednesday, August 26, 2009 : 9am-4pm Thursday, August 27, 2009: 9am-4pm. If you have not registered your vehicle by August 17, 2009 @ 3:00pm, or you are unable to attend the “Distribution Sessions” in Benson during the designated times, you will need to come to the Parking Management office in the HS Moore building. (Building number 17A on campus maps) Decal pick up at Parking Management will begin Friday, August 28, 2009. Our hours are 8:30am-4pm Monday-Friday. Keep in mind, Monday, September 7, 2009 is a University holiday and Parking Management will be closed. YOUR WFU ID CARD IS REQUIRED TO PICK UP YOUR DECALS.
